Artie vs Sintra: choose how your team delegates work

Compare Artie and Sintra on team delegation, shared knowledge, recurring work and pricing. Use the same handoff test to choose an AI employee.

Choose Artie if you want to give an AI employee an ongoing responsibility across your company’s tools and conversations. Consider Sintra if its Brain AI knowledge hub, specialist employees and workspace model fit the work you want to organize. Both products support custom employees and recurring work, so those features alone do not settle the comparison.

The more useful question is what happens after someone asks for the first deliverable. Can another colleague contribute a correction? Does the next run use it? Can the team understand what was completed and what still needs a decision?

Artie publishes this guide. We checked the public product documentation on November 3, 2026. This is a buying comparison, not a hands-on performance benchmark.

Artie for responsibilities that cross tools and conversations

Artie gives AI employees a work computer and connections to company tools. Its published communication options include Slack, email, text, WhatsApp, phone calls and Google Meet. Shared company knowledge supplies context within the access your team grants.

That arrangement is relevant when a responsibility spans several people and destinations. A launch coordinator, for example, may need to reconcile product updates, prepare a readiness brief and keep unresolved follow-ups visible to the marketing lead. The useful outcome is a current view of the launch, with evidence and clear ownership.

Start with the actual job rather than a list of desired features. Specify which sources the employee may use, where the finished work belongs and which decisions remain with your team. Check that the channels and actions you need are supported in your account. A connection to an app is not proof that every operation in that app is available.

Artie’s security guidance distinguishes instructions from technical access controls. Its checks use AI judgment, which can make mistakes. If a particular action must be restricted, limit permissions in the connected system instead of relying only on a sentence in the brief.

Sintra for a shared knowledge hub and coordinated specialists

Sintra’s product guide describes 12 core AI employees, custom employees and a community marketplace. Brain AI holds business knowledge, while Team Chat coordinates specialists through a Team Leader. Team Chat is currently described as beta on workspace plans.

Sintra also supports recurring tasks and automations. It would be misleading to describe it as a fixed set of chatbots that cannot coordinate or repeat work. Evaluate whether its particular knowledge, conversation and integration model suits the people involved in your assignment.

Its shared-workspace documentation makes a useful distinction: colleagues share Brain AI and specified workspace integrations, while their individual Helper conversations remain private. Invited members do not need a separate subscription to use that shared workspace.

Shared knowledge and shared conversations are different buying requirements. If one person prepares a brief and another needs to correct it, establish where that correction should live. Neither a team label nor a private conversation automatically tells you how the next colleague will find the authoritative version.

Compare the subscription and the work it buys

Artie’s current pricing includes a free plan with no credit card required. It starts with 1,000 credits, with additional onboarding rewards available. Those free credits do not renew monthly. The Team plan starts at $100 per month for 10,000 shared credits, without separate seat or AI-employee fees. Connected services can have their own charges.

Sintra’s pricing guide lists a discounted one-month Sintra X subscription at $48.50 with 250 monthly credits. Its three-month offer costs $70.80 upfront, equivalent to $23.60 per month. The allowance still resets monthly. VAT is added at checkout. These are advertised offers checked on the date above, so confirm the actual checkout terms.

The credit counts are not comparable units. Ten thousand Artie credits do not establish a particular multiple of the work delivered by 250 Sintra credits. Price the same representative assignment in each product, including setup, usage, connected tools and the time your team spends checking and repairing the result.

For an illustrative calculation, suppose a process runs 20 times a month. If reviewing each result takes 15 minutes, that is five hours of review. Reducing it to five minutes would save three hours and 20 minutes. That is arithmetic, not a claimed result from either product. It shows why the lowest subscription can still be the more expensive choice for a particular team.

Try the same handoff before making the decision

Use a small fictional launch brief to make the comparison concrete. Give both products the same three facts: the product lead has moved the launch from December 1 to December 8, the QA result is still pending, and the marketing lead must approve customer communication.

Ask for a short readiness brief that uses the current date, identifies the unresolved QA dependency and names the person responsible for each next step. Keep the trial internal. Preparing a customer message is different from authorizing its delivery.

Next, have a second colleague move the QA deadline and request an updated brief. Observe where they can add the correction, whether it persists into the next run and whether the revised output preserves the original evidence. Use each product’s supported workflow rather than assuming the conversation models are identical.

Finally, introduce a contradictory older document. A useful result should identify the conflict and apply the source priority you specified, or ask for the missing decision. A fluent summary that silently chooses the wrong date has not completed the assignment.

Record the finished output, the correction required, the usage charged and the review time. This is a more useful purchasing record than counting messages or comparing the number of employee names in a catalog. Keep the input packet and assess both results against the same criteria.

When to choose each

Choose Artie when your team wants to delegate an ongoing responsibility across connected tools and supported communication channels, and the trial shows that colleagues can direct and review the work effectively. Start with one responsibility that already consumes coordination time.

Choose Sintra when its shared Brain AI workspace, specialist coordination and subscription structure fit your process. If an existing Sintra setup already does the job well, there is no reason to migrate just because another product also offers custom employees.

The deciding evidence should be the work your team can accept and continue, including the cost of keeping it current. Try Artie with the same brief, sources and review criteria you use to evaluate the alternative.
