Change an Artisan's name, appearance or voice
Personalize the employee and confirm the saved identity.
An Artisan's identity makes it recognizable in the app and its supported communication channels. Change it through the identity controls in the employee's settings rather than creating a replacement employee.

Edit the intended employee
Select the Artisan, open its settings and locate the identity or appearance controls. Check the name and workspace before changing anything. Use a distinct name when several employees have related roles.
Preview before accepting
Use the available portrait and voice preview. If a preview cannot load, retry that preview; do not assume a blank frame is an accepted replacement. Generation can be pending or fail independently of ordinary chat.
Check the saved result
After saving, reopen the employee and confirm the displayed name, portrait or selected voice. Connected-provider updates can settle separately. If Slack still shows an old portrait, check that the correct Artisan seat was updated before uploading a manual replacement.
Keep ongoing work intact
A name or style change does not transfer a responsibility, reset permissions or connect another account. Change the task's owner or account separately when that is part of the intended change.
