Correct an answer with missing or wrong information

Name the correction

Point out the specific fact or section that is wrong. Provide the authoritative source or explain which account and time period should govern it. Ask for a revised answer with sources.

These totals should exclude trial customers. Use the Finance tab for September, explain the difference and update this report only.

Check what Artie could access

A missing record may be outside the connected account's access, in an unread private channel or in a partially processed file. Resolve access through the owner rather than broadening unrelated permissions.

Correct lasting context deliberately

Say whether the change is a one-job correction, an instruction for future work or a fact that should replace saved memory. Review shared knowledge when a stale company rule caused the mistake.

Review the repaired output

Check the revised answer against the source and confirm what changed. For recurring work, inspect the next occurrence too. A correction being acknowledged does not prove the next delivery already uses it.
