Schedule work with the right time zone

Make due times and recurring deliveries unambiguous.

Include a named time zone when a delivery time matters. A workspace time zone, your personal time zone and the audience's local time can differ.

State the timing in the request

Give a date for a one-off job and a cadence for recurring work. Avoid relying on 'tomorrow morning' for a distributed team without confirming which location it means.

Example request

Deliver the board draft by October 20 at 5pm Europe/London. Then send the weekly operating summary every Monday at 9am in that same time zone.

Check the scheduled occurrence

Open the task after Artie confirms it. Review its next date and time, including the time zone. For a schedule across daylight-saving changes, use a regional zone such as Europe/London or America/New_York instead of a fixed UTC offset.

Update your account or workspace zone

Use Account settings for your own time zone. An admin can change the workspace time zone in workspace settings. Check existing tasks separately; changing a preference is not proof that every saved schedule was rewritten.

Change or end recurrence

Edit the task's schedule or ask for the change in its conversation. Include an end date when the work is temporary. Confirm the next occurrence after saving, and use Pause or Cancel when you want it to stop rather than merely changing a delivery preference.
