Troubleshoot a browser call

Check microphone, connection and the current call state.

Browser calls need usable device permissions and a stable connection. A failed join and an unanswered task request are different problems.

Check device permissions

Allow microphone access for the Artie page. For video, check camera permissions too. Confirm your selected input and output devices and that another app has not muted or taken the device.

Check the call itself

Read the join, reconnect or ended state. If audio is missing, verify the device selection and connection before starting another call. End an unusable call through its normal control rather than leaving duplicate sessions open.

Recover the work

Reopen the related conversation and inspect any saved task or result. A dropped call does not prove an action discussed during it failed. Check whether an approval or request was recorded before repeating a consequential instruction.

Send a focused report

Contact support with the call time, browser, device and visible state. Say whether Artie could hear you and whether you could hear Artie. Share a call reference if available; do not send recordings of other attendees without appropriate permission.
