Work with Artie in group messages
Understand group audience, participant authority and current channel limits.
Use a supported group when everyone present should share the conversation. A group is a wider audience than your linked private chat; participants do not inherit one another's personal account access.
WhatsApp group support remains unresolved. iMessage groups require the supported native route; SMS groups are not supported as a substitute.

Use a supported group
Slack channels provide the established shared conversation path. Where iMessage group participation is enabled, use the setup and contact identity shown by Artie. An SMS fallback group is not equivalent to a supported iMessage group.
Keep the audience clear
Check the group members before asking for shared output. A participant can request accessible work under their own authority; they cannot borrow another member's inbox or approve actions as that person. Keep personal material in a private conversation unless you choose to share it.
Manage existing groups
The Group chats section in workspace settings appears when groups exist. It shows the workspace's group participation. Eligible participants and admins can open the authorized transcript; admins can use the supported remove or restore controls for Artie's participation.
Do not assume channel parity
Native WhatsApp group support is not currently an established Artie capability. A one-to-one WhatsApp link does not mean Artie can join an existing WhatsApp group. Use Slack for shared work when the desired group route is unavailable.
