Start a voice or video call with an Artisan

Talk through a job, give spoken approvals and find the follow-up.

A browser call lets you work with an Artisan aloud. You do not need an Artisan phone number for a browser voice call. Voice and video availability is shown by the controls on the employee or conversation.

On this page

Start from the intended Artisan

Open the employee or conversation and choose the available voice or video action. Allow the browser microphone, and camera if that flow needs it. Check the selected device and any price or capacity information before starting.

Explain the job aloud

Give the outcome, sources and audience as you would in chat. Artie can prepare work during the call where the capability is available. If an action needs approval, it is described and approved aloud on the call; you should not need to find a screen card to say yes.

Follow the actual outcome

A spoken acknowledgement can mean work started rather than finished. Ask whether the file was prepared, the action was submitted or the provider confirmed it. Look for delivered files and follow-up in the call's conversation.

End the call or stop the work

Use End to close the live session. Ending a call is not a blanket cancellation of accepted work. If you also want a job stopped, say which one or use its task controls. Check any after-call question about continuing unfinished work.
