A published website is missing or out of date
Check the active version, audience and source.
Publishing creates a served version of a file. A changed source file and an updated public page are separate states.
On this page
Find the publication
Open Files and its published view. Confirm the publication belongs to the expected source and workspace. Use the confirmed URL rather than a link copied from a draft.
Check audience and expiry
A workspace-only page needs appropriate sign-in. A passcode page needs its current passcode. An expired or unpublished link will not behave like a public active page. Verify these settings before diagnosing a rendering error.
Check which version is active
Review whether the source update was published to the existing link. Saving a new source version alone does not guarantee the live page changed. Open the confirmed live URL and inspect the content you expected.
Recover without duplicating links
Use the publication's update or retry path. If a request timed out, check current publication state before publishing a second site. Report the URL, source version, audience and visible error to support.
