Send one-to-one texts from an Artisan's number

Complete texting setup, respect recipients' choices and verify delivery.

Texting from an Artisan's phone number has its own setup and carrier requirements. A line that can make a call is not automatically ready to send SMS.

Check texting readiness

Open the Artisan's communication settings or workspace Business settings when the texting form is offered. An authorized admin supplies the required business, website, address and representative details and reviews the registration. Carrier review can remain pending after those facts are saved.

Give the recipient and message

Name the recipient and intended number, then describe the exact purpose and sender. Do not treat a purchased contact list or an unrelated previous conversation as consent to receive texts.

Example request

Text the customer on the number saved for this appointment to confirm tomorrow's arrival window. Use our approved appointment details and keep the wording short.

Respect opt-outs

Recipients can opt out through the carrier's supported commands. An outside recipient's stop is about their contact or participation, not permission to cancel your unrelated internal work. Do not resend through another number to evade an opt-out.

Check delivery

Read the result and delivery receipt. Accepted by the carrier and delivered to the recipient are separate stages. A rejected registration, disconnected line or unknown send names a different recovery path; retry only the stage that needs it.
