Understand quiet hours and delivery

Understand the quiet window and choose destinations for your work.

Artie holds eligible unprompted messages during quiet hours, from 8pm to 8am on your clock. A schedule you confirmed and an approval needed for ongoing work are treated differently.

Check your time zone

Open Settings → Account to check your time zone. Personal proactive messages follow that clock; some workspace-level notifications and shared checks use the workspace's time zone. There is no custom quiet-window start or end time to choose. A saved time zone takes precedence over automatic detection.

Choose destinations deliberately

Tell Artie whether a result belongs in your private chat, a named Slack channel or another supported destination. Name the account or channel when there are several. A teammate asking about work does not automatically change its audience.

Separate work time from notification time

Quiet hours hold messages nobody asked for. They do not delay a delivery schedule you confirmed, stop task execution or hide an approval that work is waiting on. If you ask for a report at 3am, its confirmed schedule still applies. Edit the task's cadence when you want to change when it runs.

Reduce unwanted updates

Give specific feedback about which updates you want and adjust the relevant controls. Pause or cancel a responsibility when you no longer want the work itself. Muting a notification does not necessarily stop scheduled work or its usage.
