Search conversations, knowledge and files

Find accessible context and verify the source behind an answer.

Use search to locate a record, or ask Artie a question that needs several sources. Search only covers information available to you and the current work; it is not an unrestricted search of every coworker's data.

Name what distinguishes the item

Include the customer, project, file name, approximate date or decision. Use the relevant conversation or Hive mind search for the item type.

Example request

Find the customer onboarding checklist we used for Acme in September, including the file and the message where Maya approved it.

Open the actual source

A search preview can be shorter than the saved content. Open the file, entry or conversation to inspect the details. For a question about a specific section or row, ask Artie to read that part rather than relying on a short search snippet.

Distinguish no result from no access

A missing result may reflect source coverage, a different name, failed indexing or your current access. Check the original record and its processing state. Do not repost someone else's private content publicly to make it searchable.

Ask for evidence

For consequential answers, request source links and dates and check that they support the claim. A current account connection does not guarantee that all old records were imported or that a stale answer is current.
