Choose one-off work or a recurring responsibility

Set the right cadence and delivery for the outcome.

A one-off job delivers an outcome once. A recurring responsibility repeats on an agreed schedule. Both use the same work records and controls, so you can follow their progress and change them later.

Ask for a single outcome

Give the result, source and due time. Say where the output should be kept or delivered. Not every conversational answer needs a visible standalone task; work that becomes a tracked commitment can be opened from its linked task.

Make recurrence explicit

Specify the frequency, time zone and end condition if one applies. Include the delivery destination and what each occurrence should cover.

Example request

Every Friday at 3pm Pacific, summarize this week's resolved support issues for me. Stop after the end of this quarter.

Review the stored schedule

Open the responsibility or task and check its cadence and next occurrence. A sentence promising future work is not enough: verify that the scheduled work appears with the intended owner.

Keep one owner

If an existing responsibility already covers the outcome, edit it instead of creating another. One owner can request help from other Artisans without giving each a separate duplicate delivery obligation.
