Stop, pause or resume Artie's work

Choose a single-job or workspace-wide control and understand what it changes.

Use the work controls when you want execution to stop. Leaving a chat, closing a browser tab, muting notifications or cancelling a subscription is not the same as stopping a task.

Control the intended scope

Use Stop in the active conversation or the task's Pause or Cancel controls. For a broader instruction, name the work you mean. A bare stop, pause or cancel is handled directly for work you may control; an outside participant cannot stop the owner's unrelated work.

Pause all work when needed

An authorized admin can use Pause all work in workspace settings. Review the scope shown before confirming. A workspace-wide pause is appropriate for a company halt, not a substitute for fixing one disconnected app.

Understand what cannot be undone

A stop prevents eligible future execution. It cannot unsend a delivered message, reverse a provider change or prove an in-flight action never happened. Keep receipts for actions that were already submitted and reconcile any unclear outcome.

Resume deliberately

Use the same task or workspace controls to resume. Check the next scheduled occurrence and outstanding connection or decision. Resume continues eligible work; it does not rewind completed external effects or grant missing permissions.
