Define a responsibility

A responsibility tells Artie what outcome to own, which sources to use, who the work is for and when it is needed. You can choose a job he proposes or describe your own in ordinary language.

Choose a responsibility

Pick one of the jobs Artie proposes, or describe your own. Include:

  • The outcome you want.
  • The source of truth he should use.
  • Who the work is for and when it is needed.

For example: “Own the Monday revenue report. Use the finance sheet and lead with what changed.”

Review the first result

The first result establishes how the responsibility should run next time.

  1. Check the work against its sources.
  2. Explain what was useful.
  3. Give specific feedback on what should change.
