Request a feature or a new capability
Explain the work you need Artie to support and keep track of the request.
A useful feature request starts with the outcome you cannot get today. Explain the gap to Artie, including the app or channel involved and the result you expected.
On this page
Open the request conversation
Open your account menu and choose Request a feature. This opens a conversation starter; describe the request and send it. You can also tell your Artisan about a missing capability in your existing conversation. Opening the starter alone does not submit a request.
Describe the outcome and the gap
Give a specific example, who needs the result and how you handle it now. Name the app, file format or channel if it matters. Explain what happened when you tried, without including account credentials.
Example requestI need the weekly pipeline report to include our CRM's custom renewal field. Today I have to copy it into a spreadsheet before Artie can use it.
Separate the request from ongoing work
A recorded feature request does not mean the feature has shipped or that a delivery date is committed. Ask for a supported workaround if you still need the job done. Keep that job's owner, deadline and destination clear rather than waiting on an assumed release.
Follow up in the same conversation
Return to the original exchange to clarify the request. Where requested-feature notifications are enabled, Artie can let you know when the relevant capability becomes available to you. Product updates also appear in What's new. Check the capability in your own workspace before relying on it for a recurring job.
