Set your personal preferences for an Artisan
Keep your preferences separate from company-wide rules.
Personal instructions tell an Artisan how to work with you. They are useful for your writing style, preferred summaries and routine working choices, especially when an employee serves several people.

Choose the scope
Open your Account settings and personal instructions, or the relevant Artisan's personal instruction controls. Use a company-wide instruction only when you intend a shared standard and have authority to change it.
Give examples and exceptions
State what you prefer and why. Keep facts such as a customer's current renewal date in Memory or the source app, and keep a task-specific deadline on that task.
Example requestFor my weekly updates, lead with decisions needed and risks. Keep the first summary short, then link the supporting detail. For a board draft, include the full assumptions.
Confirm the saved preference
Save, then reopen the current instructions or ask Artie what applies to your next job. A preference in your private context should not become another teammate's rule just because you work with the same Artisan.
Change it when your work changes
Edit or remove the preference through the same controls. Explain whether a correction replaces an old rule or adds an exception. Personal instructions guide work; they do not authorize use of someone else's account.
