Choose who can open a published link

Use public, workspace or passcode access and manage expiry.

Publishing chooses a destination and audience for the actual file or site. Check the content for that audience before making the link live.

Choose the appropriate access

Public links are for content you intend to make publicly reachable. Workspace links require the supported workspace admission. Passcode links require the configured passcode. A passcode can be passed on by a recipient; it is not proof of their identity.

Inspect the content being shared

Review the prepared copy, its assets and included data. Your choice to share your own information stands, but it does not authorize publishing someone else's private material. A private source should not accidentally become an embedded public asset.

Set expiry when useful

Use the optional expiry field for a temporary handoff. Share the deadline with recipients. Changing expiry or access affects future opening; it cannot recall a copy someone already downloaded.

Test as the intended visitor

Open the live link through the appropriate visitor flow. Check the workspace sign-in or passcode requirement when protected. If you change access or rotate a passcode later, confirm the new behavior and tell the intended recipients through your usual process.
